Southern Barn Wedding

My beautiful friend Michelle and her husband Charles flew us out to Georgia to photograph their southern wedding. This was easily one of the most fun weddings I’ve been able to be a part of. From the portrait session under the oak trees to the southern style dinner and drinks in a barn to the sparkler exit, we had an amazing time documenting it all. Here are my favorite moments of their day.

Rustic Northern California Wedding

Mikery + Brookelynn 8-31-19
He’s from SoCal, she’s from NorCal, they met and fell in love in New York. They had a beautiful ceremony and reception tucked away in the forest. It was so fun being able to hang out in the bride’s neck of the woods (pun intended) and capture their special day.

Intimate Fall San Diego Wedding

It’s intimate weddings like these that remind me what an honor it is to be a part of a couple’s wedding day. I don’t think I’ve cried as much as I have at a wedding like I did watching Elias and Cecilia tell each other their vows and pray together. Family heirlooms were included, pictured is her grandmother’s ring box from 1947. These two are such a sweet couple and it was so clear that they are loved by so many people.

Urban Barrio Logan Couples Session

Earlier this year, Elly won a session giveaway and we finally got a chance to get together with her husband Rocky for a session, just because (they are also freshly married, are newlywed sessions a thing?). Chicano park, street tacos, ice cream, occasional car shows with classic low-riders, and lots of awesome local vendors make Barrio Logan a perfect spot for shoots, making this probably my all time favorite spot in San Diego. Here are some of my favorites!
